This once-thriving silver mining city has been turned over the course of many years into a premier luxury vacation destination where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities, as well as arts and culture, while yet retaining its quaint sense of community.
To this day, it continues to be one of the most popular winter destinations for those who live an active, outdoor lifestyle. For those who are interested in more extreme activities, the resort offers everything from skiing and snowboarding to the same bobsled track that was used in the Olympics in 2002. There are other activities such as tubing, sledding, and horse-drawn sleigh rides available for those who like to take things a bit more slowly. Ice skating is a necessity in our outdoor skating rink.

Dr. Renato Saltz
Dr. Renato Saltz is a highly respected plastic surgeon, board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He specializes in facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and breast surgery, with a particular focus on reconstructive surgery for cancer patients. Dr. Timothy Marten is an internationally renowned facelift specialist and founder of the Marten Clinic of Plastic Surgery in San Francisco. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has over 25 years of experience in aesthetic surgery. Dr. Marten is particularly known for his expertise in facelift and fat grafting techniques. He has authored more than 30 textbook chapters on facelift surgery and has made over 800 presentations at national and international symposia. He has been recognized as one of the top 10 facelift surgeons globally by W Magazine and has been profiled in various prestigious publications including Vogue, The New York Times, and CNN.
Dr. Foad Nahai
Dr. Foad Nahai is an internationally recognized plastic surgeon known for his contributions to both aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He has refined many surgical techniques and is particularly noted for the development of the Mathes-Nahai classification of flaps used in reconstructive surgery. Dr. Nahai has held prestigious positions, including being the President of both the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). He currently serves as a professor at Emory University and is the editor-in-chief of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Dr. Volney Pitombo
Dr. Volney Pitombo is a leading Brazilian plastic surgeon, internationally known for his expertise in rhinoplasty, particularly in treating Hispanic and South American noses. Dra. Sheila Nazarian
Dr. Sheila Nazarian is a highly accomplished, board-certified plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills. She is known for her work in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, hand, and burns surgery. Dr. Nazarian is the founder of Nazarian Plastic Surgery and Spa26, where she offers a range of aesthetic procedures including CoolSculpting, liposuction, and breast augmentation. Dra. Rachel Garcia
Dr. Rachel Calcagnotto Garcia is a dermatologist and cosmiatrist born in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, with a rich background in aesthetics. She is the daughter of a plastic surgeon and an artist, which shaped her early interest in beauty and facial proportions. Dr. Garcia graduated in medicine from the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA) and later specialized in dermatology. With expertise in aesthetic dermatology, Dr. Garcia has focused her career on providing scientifically proven treatments aimed at enhancing patients' confidence and self-esteem.
